They are ambushed by Wanzers. This causes a chain of events which plunges whole island into war. Royd’s fiancee, Lieutenant Karen Meure, goes missing in action.

Royd was discharged from army service, and sets off to find out what happened to Karen. He finds himself closer to the truth as well as those responsible.

Front Mission and the dozens of characters it has and its well-developed storyline, is the best strategic Japanese RPG that is available worldwide.
