Sol Cresta uses the same methods of formation and docking as Terra Cresta’s cult shooting game Moon Cresta. It also incorporates the new “free-form docking technique”. The main character, Yamato is comprised of the vessels Amaterasu, Tsukuyomi, and Susano will be able to employ a range of different attacks depending on the ways the three ships are placed. The most effective way to stop Mandler’s armies of invading troops is to dock, splitting and reforming ships.
